Basic commands
Below is a list of basic commands that any member will have access to. There are other (less useful) commands available, but you can figure them out as you go.
/who- See who is currently online and in what world they are. Don't forget you can also use [Tab]./i [itemname] [amount]- Give yourself items./gamemode [survival/creative/...]- Change your gamemode./heal- Heal yourself./spawn- Get back to the spawn./warp [worldname]- Warp to a specific world on the server./warp [warpname]- Teleport to the given warp. (Tip: Use/toinstead for autocompletion)/warp list [-c creator -w world]- List all or specific warps./warp create [warpname]- Create a new warp with the given name at your current location./slay- Kill yourself =S/tpa [playername]- Request a teleport to a player./tpauto- Automatically accept teleport requests./msg [playername] [message]- Message a player in private./r [message]- Reply to the last received message./mail [send/read/clear]- Send and receive mail. The receiving player will be notified of mails when they log in./whereami [playername]- Get your location./clear [**]- Remove your inventory [and gear]./ping- Get a response from the server to see if you experience any lag./home&/sethome- Teleport to and set your home. You can only have one home across all worlds./afk- Set your status to Away From Keyboard. This happens automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity./ignore [player]- Ignore someone (stop receiving messages and chat from them)./ptime [@][day/night/dawn/...]- Set your own time to a custom value, @ fixes it so it stays the same.
Note that most of the utility commands (like /spawn) will work in any world, but not all commands will work in vanilla.
